For this week's installment of The Weekender, we've put together an Easter brunch look, channeling spring's softer hues and topped it off with a grown-up take on an Easter basket. (One is never too old for a little bunny business.)
Style tips:
- If you're worried about skewing too girly, opt for pastel pieces in menswear-inspired or body-skimming shapes. In this case we offset the light ruffles of this pale mandarin BCBG blouse with a boxier pearl gray TopShop vest (a go-to wardrobe piece for this season) and a curve-hugging James Perse skirt.
- Another way to pull off softer hues is to pair them with pops of more intense color. Charlotte Ronson added a rocker edge to her pastel pieces with black accents and BCBG did the same with small hints of neon.
